I am thankful that Catherine's first scan went so well, and that our baby is in perfect health, with a very pretty (according to the lady who did the scan) heart.
I am thankful that we got to see our baby briefly sucking its thumb. We couldn't believe how quickly it moved it's tiny hands and feet around. I am also very thankful that we got a DVD of the whole scan to look at whenever we like.
I am thankful that everyone who we have told our good news has been so supportive and excited for us.
I am thankful that our closest friends are all really looking forward to us bringing a baby along, and aren't dismayed that they have to put up with it.
I am thankful that my parents are enjoying their trip and are safe and healthy.
I am thankful that our trip towards Queenstown has been so pleasant so far, with many laughs along the way.
I am thankful that the clocks are put back one hour tonight, so that we will have an extra hour to get to the ferry first thing tomorrow morning. |

I am thankful that I met Brigitte who introduced me to Alfred and Gisela
I am thankful that they invited me also to the lunch they shared after so many years
I am thankful that Alfred and Gisela showed us their beautiful home
I am thankful that we had the time to walk along the beach
I am thankful that we were able to take some tme out and spend a wonderful afternoon together
I am thankful that Brigitte dared to cut my hair late that night
I am so thankful that I am able to meet such nice people through my job |

I am very thankful for the news, that our son told us, that the baby scan showed everything is fine and that the expected date is a bit later, so we will be back in New Zealand early enough!
I am thankful, that our trip is going well and that a dream for my wife became true - seeing the pyramides!
I am thankful, that we meet only very nice people, and that everybody is responding to a smile with a smile.
I am thankful, that New Zealand has only as much people as Cairo cars. |

I am thankful for the uplifting, enlightening and enjoyable conversation and evening with a good friend.
I am thankful for all my past experiences, and for those experiences which teach me something every day.
I am thankful for the beautiful country I live in, and for the abundance of great food available to me.
I am thankful for another great day, which I can look back on and realise just how much I have to be thankful for. |

I am thankful for living in NZ, and for the relative safety, cleanliness, and comfort of life here.
I am thankful for another great day at work, and for getting so much done.
I am thankful for my patience, and that I feel I am become even more patient with some things.
I am thankful for the great swim I had this evening, and for doing more lengths than yesterday.
I am thankful that I feel more refreshed, and have more energy.
I am thankful tomorow I will spend the evening with a great friend, and share a lovely meal.
I am thankful for my loving, kind and supportive family. |

I am thankful to be alive and well and healthy.
I am thankful for the beautiful sunshine today.
I am thankful for a great hike with a wonderful friend up Mt. Douglas, with great views over the islands and the city of Victoria.
I am grateful for a nice meal with real German dark rye bread.
I am grateful that my house remodeling project is turning out beautifully.
I am grateful for all the good feelings about life. |

I am thankful for the lovely friends I have.
I am thankful to have the ability and opportunity to enjoy all aspects of my life.
I am thankful for the company of my grandson Sohl.
I am thankful to have the task of going with him to karate lessons.
I am thankful for his love.
I am thankful to be starting a new decorating project in my house and that it is not to big or difficult.
I am thankful to look at the projects I have completed and feel a sense of satisfaction and achiement.
I am thankful for all creative opportunities. They are so nurturing. |

And again, I am so thankful, that my home is in New Zealand. I am looking out of my window 20th level in a beautiful hotel in Cairo with a view onto the NIl, but what a life we can live in New Zealand.
I am thankful, that my wife still enjoys a good nights sleep.
I am thankful for the internet.
I am thankful, that my daughter in law and my son enjoyed the time in a flight simulator.
I am thankful for the first bit of daylight over the city.
I am thankful for all of you and for our German site with nearly 8.000 entries. |

I am thankful for feeling so full of energy and much more "healthy" again. I am thankful that today I was able to swim a few more lengths than yesterday.
I am thankful I have such fantastic friends to share my life with, and who bring me so much joy and so much to be thankful for.
I am thankful for my work and for the income it provides me in order to live a comfortable life.
I am thankful my sister and her husband make such a lovely well balanced couple, and that they are both so happy together.
I am thankful for my comfy bed so I can have a great nights sleep. |
